Amir Muhammad Figueroa
Born and raised in the NYC, with deep roots in Harlem, and currently residing in Seattle, WA . As an endurance athlete I have a wide range of experiences in the outdoors, from qualifying for the Boston Marathon to a top-10 finish in the Mohonk Preserve 50-mile race. I am graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and currently serve as the Director of Shared Immunology Resources at the Benaroya Research Institute. When I’m not running or collaborating with other scientists, I am co-leading Harlem Run and active board member for non-profits with missions that I am passionate about supporting.
